We are proud to share the 2022 Inspirational Educator Award winner is Erik Curley. Erik is the band director at Olympia High School and was chosen for this award by our 2022 first-place scholarship winner, Kalyani Marsh.
Kalyani plays both the flute and saxophone and she shared she was very inspired by Mr. Curley during her time with him in his class and during jazz band. We were fortunate to arrange the perfect in-person visit, surprising Mr. Curley during Kalyani’s band class. Our ceremony was very touching as Erik was so very surprised and humbled by this award.
