The house I have grown up in has been a very unique home. Many children have been able to call this house ¨home¨. Me and my brother were brought home as foster babies, then adopted into this family along with 2 adopted sisters and 2 adopted brothers, our family also had 3 birth children. Over 300 other foster children have shared this home with us over several years.
Although this house is large at times when it is full and may seem small and crowded, we have always found ways to adapt and make it work so it feels like a home instead of a house to live in. This house is more than a place to live, it is a safe haven for foster babies who need a place to call home. What makes a house a home is the people who are in it.
